Free facility access This is a great opportunity for Slide Attendants who value water safety, love working with people, and want to keep the community safe in our facility. The Site Nambour Aquatic Centre is based within the heart of the community, surrounded by lush parklands and boasts all the modern facilities. Our all-inclusive water park had an upgrade with the inclusion of 2 adventure water slides which opened to the public in 2022. The facility also provides a 25m warm water pool, 50m outdoor pools, green space for relaxing, kiosk, and amenities.
The Role We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly Water Slide Attendants to join the team. Our attendants will be responsible for ensuring that all areas both in and surrounding our pools are a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons while assisting in ensuring safety regulations are followed by our patrons when using the slides.
You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing, and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.
Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with guests and members that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.
Immediate start! Must be available to work weekends and during school holidays. Position suitable for school students or persons looking to work a second job. MUST have current First Aid/CPR certificate and Bluecard (18+ only) Skills & Attributes: Excellent verbal communication skills and understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility, ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team. Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate Blue Card.
