The Opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a STP Operator to join our Maintenance Team at Lizard Island Resort. As a STP Operator, you will play a vital role in managing and monitoring the Resort Sewerage Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant at our resort. In this role, you will help us deliver a premium customer experience, ensuring our guests' comfort from arrival to departure. What We Offer

This is a "live-on" remote location role located on the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef, just over an hour's flight northeast of Cairns.

What you will do? Operate and maintain water and sewerage treatment plants in line with legislation.Record water usage, sample potable water, and replace chemicals as needed.Perform daily operations, maintenance, and repairs at the sewerage treatment plant.Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and testing requirements.Adhere to safety, environmental, and resort procedures, including cyclone protocols. More About You STP certifications and a current driver's license.Understanding of safety standards and chemical knowledge.Tractor and front-end loader licenses (preferred).Strong adherence to environmental policies and procedures.Ability to perform duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
