Water Quality Technician
$27.33 to $32.42 per hour Part Time (assessed on experience & qualifications)

The opportunity:
Deliver high standards of expertise in all aspects of swimming pool maintenance with water quality management while delivering a high standard of cleanliness and a safe swimming environment. Daily balancing of all pools at Sea World and Sea World Resort, including 2 hourly water testing.
Your day to day:
Have a solid understanding of pool chemical operational parameters or standards and how to maintain these ensuring a safe swimming environment. Understand and be able to operate, maintain and adjust all automated chemical metering and chemical dosing equipment to an operator's level. Maintain stock levels of pool chemicals and associated equipment ensuring hazardous chemicals, handling equipment and mechanical components are stored and managed safely. Experience with daily maintenance of filtration systems, lint strainers, chemical and centrifugal pumps. Ensure all Maximo generated work orders are completed within scheduled time frames ensuring a consistent standard of workload output. What you'll bring:
Previous experience in a similar role. Basic understanding of UV systems. Basic understanding of water hydraulics. Must be available to work between the hours of 5am to 10pm including weekends and rotate shifts when required. A Forklift license, advantageous. Pool plant operator certificate essential or willing to obtain. Manual driver's license. Experience with water filtration plants and small pump maintenance would be beneficial. To apply:
