Job Description Due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business, we are expanding our team.
We are currently searching for a proven Water Planner, and with AECOM's flexibility you can base yourself in any of our offices in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth.
By joining our team, you will work on complex, large-scale projects that deliver great outcomes for our clients and will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with interstate and international offices.
What will a day in this role look like: Project delivery and contributing to growing, shaping and maintaining our Integrated Water Planning business. Business development including client engagement, proposal preparation and bid management for clients including major and regional urban utilities, developers, local and state government. Proactive delivery of high-quality and timely valued water network planning solutions that are focused on flexibility, sustainability, optimisation, integration, whole-of-lifecycle cost and acceptable risk. Checking and review of project outputs, including project deliverables (calculations, specifications, reports) through to technical verification and peer review. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintaining a high performing, engaged and supportive team culture. Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.

What are we looking for from you? Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience. Demonstrated network planning experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options and proficiency in hydraulic network modelling of water and/or wastewater systems. Understanding of current and potential future policy, practice, trends, technology, and information affecting water planning, including drivers, regulation, framework and guidelines. Proven track record in the successful delivery of large projects on time, within budget and outstanding quality. Excellent communication skills and high quality technical and non-technical report writing. Client relationship/management skills and experience.
