Our team is dedicated to maintaining and improving the water infrastructure to ensure a sustainable and reliable water supply for all residents.As a Water Performance Reporting Officer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and play a crucial role in the success of our water services unit.About The RoleIn this role, you will assist the Manager Water Services in coordinating and overseeing the maintenance and renewal of smart meters (water and wastewater), water treatment infrastructure (e.g., disinfection), and their integration with the SCADA system. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining business information and reports related to water production, treatment, consumption, and environmental factors.Additionally, you will work closely with the water services operational team to troubleshoot faulty meters and ensure accurate reporting. Building effective relationships with key regulatory bodies, such as NSW EPA, NSW Health, and Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, will be essential for compliance and reporting for the council's water and sewer schemes.About YouAs the ideal candidate, you are highly detail-oriented, possess excellent time management skills, and have a proven ability to solve complex problems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
