Water Network Technician

Aqua Analytics is a leading provider of water loss management solutions to utilities around Australia. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Water Network Leakage Technician to join our team. The salary is $70-75k per year + super + allowances for travel. We also run an annual bonus program. Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of reactive leak detection works on municipal water supply networks Provide advice to our client on the best methods to solve water network challenges based on your experience Interpret civil infrastructure maps and plans to undertake works Undertake acoustic leak detection survey works Provide reports on network defects to our customers, including using customer works management and GIS platforms (from Field Tablets) Take responsibility for HSEQ implementation and compliance during field works, including the use of field compliance software Project supervision and customer liaison, with a focus on adhering to high levels of client satisfaction Qualifications and Experience: Past experience in working with drinking water pipelines and undertaking acoustic leak detection activities Professional attitude, appearance and conduct to align with our client's expectations Diligent operator with a deep knowledge and understanding of water supply networks and their daily operation Proficient with how acoustic technologies are used to find leaks in municipal water networks; including leak noise correlators, ground microphones and acoustic loggers Experience in working for small, fast-moving companies where we all contribute to growth and success is a huge advantage Someone motivated, engaged and willing to solve problems collaboratively with team members and clients who is prepared to give an outstanding level of results and service to our clients to ensure repeat work Experience in preparation of reports on civil infrastructure so repairs can be initiated to reduce water loss Benefits: The benefits that come with working in a small and flexible environment (bonus and incentive schemes, interstate company events, tickets to sporting events) Access to the latest technology (both for doing your job and solving our customer's water challenges) Company-supplied laptop and mobile phone allowance A gratifying role where you can contribute to solving real-world problems each day Fully maintained work vehicle available Opportunity to grow your career with the business, take on more responsibility and be rewarded for success A company committed to doing the right thing, demonstrated by our partnership with Water Aid If you are interested in this position, please submit your resume and cover letter to #J-18808-Ljbffr
