Water Industry Trainer and Assessor- NetworksA Trainer who is ready to take our RTO to the next level!! Play an active role in skilling, growing and reskilling the water industryMaximise learning outcomes for our clients and employeesFulltime based in Tennyson, Brisbane but open to WFH (with travel)$92,000 to $117,000 depending on the experienceSimmonds & Bristow (simmondsbristow.com.au) is a leader in regional and remote water management. In addition to extensive proven experience as water industry network professional, you will need to possess the following attributes that we believe will position you to be a successful high performer in this role:
Love being practical and really enjoy knowing how things workKnown to jump at the chance to help others when you see they require assistanceHave the ability to take complex information and successfully communicate it to a wide range of stakeholdersCan analyse numbers and data with ease, you readily see mistakes in data setsWork at a brisk pace and respond well to demands on your timeYou don't necessarily enjoy confronting others but you will if absolutely requiredWhile you are very comfortable talking to large groups, you are able to listen carefully and respondEnjoy support and guidance, but you do not like being micro-managedWhen presented with something new, you will question and look for potential negativesYour friends would say you are a considered decision maker using intuition & objective dataYou will generally accommodate the requests of others but will dig the heals in when you passionately believe in a different course of actionSkills & Experience: Sound experience in operating/managing water supply or sewage network pipelines with working knowledge of water supply and/or sewage operations;Hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), Diploma or above qualification in adult education is definitely an advantage; otherwise we will support you obtaining your Certificate IV before entering the instructional environment;Significant practical experience in water industry networks operation;A background in practical engineering of water/wastewater systems or treatment plants, or trade qualified plumber, pipefitter or water industry worker;Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal;Australian or New Zealand permanent resident or citizen.If the above resonates with you (even if you are currently happy where you are) we may just have the opportunity and career you have been looking for.
