Lead the Cairns water treatment operator team as we head towards commissioning and operation of the brand-new Draper Road Water Treatment Plant. The new 60ML/d DAFF plant will provide water to the Cairns community from a new source.
About Cairns Regional Council:

We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader with the technical know-how and leadership skills to drive excellence and continuity of supply.
Our ideal candidate will have: A Certified Water Operator qualification (Certificate 3 minimum) C Class Driver's Licence Proven supervisory skills with a focus on team development, motivation, and productivity Expertise in water treatment processes, technology, and regulatory standards Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues swiftly to maintain uninterrupted plant operations Ability to optimise treatment plant operation to maintain high levels of efficiency Ability to organise maintenance for all plant and equipment to maintain production 365 days per year Why join us?
