Reporting to the Water Manager you will work to support the safe and efficient dewatering of two underground operations and the surface operation CHPP.Responsibilities of the role include:ensuring the water treatment plants operate efficiently and effectively to ensure adequate provision of process, irrigation and potable waterfacilitate sufficient offsite discharge water to meet the site operational requirementsoptimising plant operation through a variety of operating environments as dictated by water quality and weather conditionsassist with identifying, designing and implementing operational improvements as well as capital projectslead the monitoring, reporting and improvement of the site water infrastructure networkTo be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:A Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical preferred) with 2+ years' experience in water treatment or 4+ years' experience in mineral processing; orAn operator / trade background with 10+ years' of water treatment experience including RO operation and significant experience with project planning, technical design and documentationIn return, here are some of the benefits we offer:Regional AllowanceRelocation Assistance for eligible candidatesRemote Area Housing AssistanceEducation AssistanceAnnual Performance BonusAbout Ulan Surface OperationsUlan Surface Operations is part of the Ulan Complex and supports two highly productive Underground Mines, Ulan West and Ulan Underground.
