We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Water Engineer to join our team as we expand our presence in Southland.
With an interest in three-waters (water, wastewater and stormwater) infrastructure you will be given the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects while enhancing your technical skills.
We welcome applications from engineers with all levels of expertise and have worked within various technical disciplines such as stormwater and flood modelling.
About the Role Investigate, plan and design water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure.
Develop and model stormwater runoff and waterways.
Contract management including cost estimating, tender and contract preparation, construction monitoring and commissioning.
Manage multiple projects and work closely with clients and contractors.
Join and collaborate with a nation-wide team of technical experts.
Support business development activities with existing clients and build relationships with new clients.
Establish PDP's profile by attending conferences and producing technical publications.
What You'll Bring We are looking for an individual who it committed to solutions for our environment and using their talent and knowledge against a variety of projects.
With your passion and diverse skill set we hope to deliver quality to our clients and therefore we hope the ideal candidate will have the following: Degree in Civil, Environmental or Natural Resource Engineering.
Experience and/ or an interest in three-waters engineering investigation, design and contract management.
Charted Professional accreditation (CEng) or working towards.
Effective communication and written communication skills including technical report writing.
A collegiate, team-player attitude.
