The opportunity
A unique opportunity now exists for a 1st year apprentice to join our renowned watch workshop based in Newstead. Working with this team of qualified and esteemed watchmakers, you will learn all aspects of the watchmaking industry including servicing Quartz and Mechnical watches and customer service. As part of this four-year apprenticeship, you will also participate in relevant TAFE studies to support your practical experience.
Skills/experience
To thrive in this role, you will be someone who appreciates beauty and craftsmanship. An ability to listen to and follow instructions, along with a desire to learn, are essential. Due to the intricacy of our trade, the successful applicant should have superior fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, with enhanced attention to detail. Patience and determination will also go a long way in ensuring we deliver a quality service to our customers.
