Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team in Gladstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our client's assets safely and to the highest standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain wastewater treatment plants to ensure efficient and effective treatment of wastewater.Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and machinery.Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities to identify and report any issues or defects.Collaborate with other team members to achieve safe and efficient plant operations.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and efficiency.RequirementsCertification in Water Operations (Water Treatment) or equivalent.Open QBCC Plumbers License.Current Open Driver's License.Forklift license (preferable).Construction White Card (CPCCOHS1001A or CPCCWHS1001).Knowledge of safety issues relevant to the industry and a commitment to safe working practices.Good verbal and written communication skills.What We OfferOn-going professional development opportunities.A highly supportive team environment.Accommodation and meals while on site (as per Contract Policy).Flights to and from Brisbane Domestic Airport.The opportunity to work directly with two industry leaders.
