Council is seeking a Waste Operations Technical Officer who will provide operational and technical support to the Waste Operations team. This includes the facilitation of the operation of all facilities in a cost effective manner, to assist with on ground service delivery activities and to develop and implement continuous improvements to Council's waste operations. You will be:
Interacting with customers on site and when following up compliance issues; Monitoring site footage for compliance and waste levy verification purposes; Delivering community information and assistance for new sites as commissioned or planned for expansion; Undertaking compliance activities in accordance with relevant legislation and audit requirements; Providing and analysing levy data including volumetric surveys, material movements between RRA and Leviable Area;
About yourself
A person in this position will need to hold a relevant qualification in Business Administration or in a related field, OR
be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have: Current QLD 'C' Class Drivers Licence
