Duties and Responsibilities: Administer and monitor Waste Transfer Station operations, including compiling usage and contamination statistics, and reporting as required.
Act as the primary contact for waste and recycling contractors, overseeing service delivery, processing invoices, and addressing issues promptly.
Support the Manager Parks, Waste & Natural Environment in licensing and reporting requirements.
Contribute to the development, delivery, and promotion of waste education programs and initiatives to foster waste minimization and recycling practices within the community.
Maintain accurate records, perform data entry, and prepare reports to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and organizational standards.
Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and the community to enhance trust and support effective Waste Service delivery.
Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in contract administration, preferably within a regulated environment.
Strong proficiency in data entry, record-keeping, and numerical analysis.
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and prepare detailed reports.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and conduct effective research.
High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high work quality and productivity.
Current 'C' class driverâs license.
