We do more than collect the bin from your street; we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert it to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet in-house, and have our own bespoke technology systems.
The Waste Educator/ Community Engagement role is a lifestyle opportunity offering the right candidate a full-time permanent position in Orange, NSW.
The role will involve regional travel to numerous central NSW towns with tasks including community displays, school presentations, bin inspections, and occasional waste auditing/project involvement.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.
The role will include: Coordination and delivery of education presentations to school-aged childrenCoordination and delivery of shopping centre and other community displaysReporting on the interactions and presentationsParticipating in data collection and behavioural observation projects including bin inspections and waste segregation auditsEngagement and liaison with residents and the community at the kerbside/in the communityOur ideal candidate will relish the unique diversity of work tasks and enjoy creating a more sustainable future for their community.
