About the role As the Waste Contracts Officer, you will implement Council's contracts for waste collection, disposal, and recycling services whilst delivering high quality customer service for our residents.
This role ensures that our waste and recycling services are delivered effectively and efficiently and delivers project to ensure continuous improvement.
In this role you will get exposure to:
contract management;education;project development and;data analysis.
You will be working with a progressive and innovative Council who support a diverse community only minutes away from the Sydney CBD! You will have the opportunity to work with and educate our Community as well as helping to deliver Council's waste collection service
Aboutthe person The successful candidate will have contract management, local government, and/or customer service experience. Applicants will possess:
highly developed administrative and/or contract administration skills;ability to undertake a number of tasks effectively and efficiently;excellent communication skills including the confidence to deal with the community and contractors;ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment and;high degree of computer literacy.
