Scholarship Purpose Established in memory of Warren "Wazza" Williams and his contribution to AECOM and its Central Queensland community, this scholarship aims to recognise an up-and-coming local Civil Engineer with a $10,000 payment and valuable industry internship experience.
The successful scholarship recipient will be required to complete industry work placements at the Rockhampton and/or Mackay offices. The period of engagement is typically 12 weeks up to 26 weeks each year, depending on the university industry placement requirements and breaks.
Qualifications Be enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), entering your second or third year of your degree.Have an interest in employment in the local Central Queensland region.Be available and committed to completing your industry work placements with AECOM.Not be receiving any other employer-linked bursary or scholarship.Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, holder of a Humanitarian Visa or New Zealand Citizen with a permanent home address in Australia.Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in the Civil Engineering major.

Ongoing Eligibility: Maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0 each term.Remain enrolled in the course as at Census Date each term.Commit to and participate in paid work placements with AECOM.Please note that failure to meet the continuing eligibility criteria may result in the scholarship being cancelled.
