About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Services Manager / Associate Director to join our client's London-based team.
This role focuses on financial due diligence engagements for a variety of clients, including private equity firms, corporate clients, and financial institutions.
You will work on high-profile deals in the UK and across Europe, delivering critical insights into the financial health and viability of target companies, supporting clients through the deal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Financial Due Diligence Projects : Manage and execute financial due diligence projects for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including analysis of financial statements, cash flows, and key performance metrics.
Client Engagement : Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their strategic objectives.
Provide clients with insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
Team Management : Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality work and development of their technical skills.
Oversee project delivery to meet deadlines while maintaining client expectations.
Report Preparation : Prepare and present comprehensive due diligence reports, highlighting key financial risks, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, and other factors that could impact the transaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with other advisory teams, such as tax, legal, and valuation specialists, to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
Business Development : Participate in business development initiatives, including client pitches, proposal preparation, and networking events.
Contribute to thought leadership activities to enhance the firm's market presence.
Market and Sector Insights : Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes in the UK and European deal markets.
Qualifications and Experience
Professional Qualification : ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Experience : 5+ years in financial due diligence, transaction services, or related advisory work, preferably within a Big Four or top-tier professional services firm.
Experience managing complex deals across multiple sectors.
Skills : Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify key issues.
Proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Leadership : Demonstrated experience in leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
Languages : Fluency in English; additional European language skills would be advantageous.
