Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights Yellow Iron Fleet (YIF) are proud partners with Tronox in the commencement of the Atlas Campaspe mineral sands mining operation in the Murray Basin.YIF offer our clients a complete mining solution by providing clearing, topsoil stripping, load, haul and rehabilitation services.Exciting opportunities exist for a Storeman with experience on large mining excavator fleets to join the team and be part of the long-term success of this new venture.The roles will be based onsite approximately 80km from Balranald NSW and 130km from Mildura Vic. Some work / training out of the Bendigo head office could also be required.Suitable candidates will be offered full-time employment and accommodation. The roster will be 2 weeks on and 1 week off. This is a drive in drive out role.Daily duties will include;Stock control, material transport and inventory management.Creating Purchase orders Optimise use of available laydown/storage area.Mechanically minded to be able to identify project materials.Receive parts and equipment, matching items to delivery dockets/ invoices.Assist to maintain traceability of materials in stock.Inventory management and reporting, including stocktakes of all materialsMandatory criteria include:Previous experience working in a Storeman role, preferably within the mining sectorTruck License preferred (not essential)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.The successful candidates will be fast learners, have the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team and possess an excellent commitment to health, safety and the environment.Very attractive pay rates on offer to the right candidates.
