Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Yard Supervisor to join our fast-paced warehouse at the Moree Cotton Gin. In this hands-on role you'll be responsible for efficiently and safely coordinating movements for the site as well as operating machinery and equipment such as forklifts and loaders. Daily activities include but are not limited to:
Loading and unloading trucksLoading and unloading shipping containersBuilding bale loads and lotsMaintaining records of quantity and store locationMaintaining clean warehouse, concrete pads, rail and yardGeneral maintenance of equipment, buildings and the siteRoutine inspectionsAuthorised Officer inspections of containers and cotton bales for exportingExperience: Competent in operation of heavy equipment and machineryAbility to work with data systemsGreat work ethic, reliable and a positive attitudeExperience coordinating a teamGood organizational skills to manage a large volume siteWillingness to obtain DAFF Authorised Officer accreditationAble to work longer hours and weekends during the peak shipping seasonAdditional Information: Diversity & Inclusion:LDC is driven by a set of shared values and high ethical standards, with diversity and inclusion being part of our DNA.
