In this newly created role, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Transport Manager (the Last Mile) to join our Supply Chain operations for our Radiology medical devices, contrast media and consumables.
Reporting into the Product Supply Customer Lead ANZ & South Asia, you will be based from our Pymble, NSW office and will be accountable for an uninterrupted market supply, by acting as the first point of contact for commercial operations service providers.
You will liaise with various stakeholders to oversee local warehousing, distribution and export of products through a 3PL, ensuring a seamless distribution, cost optimisation and compliance.
Key tasks and responsibilities will include:
Ensuring frictionless distribution workflow of our products across warehousing and transport processes to meet customer requirements.
Liaise with Commercial, Business partners, Customer Solutions, Contract manufacturing organization (CMOs) and clearing and forwarding agents.
Maintain oversight of all processes, including stock accuracy, inventory transactions and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) performance.
Drive and support joint value creation and improvement initiatives in downstream customer logistics executions.
Collaborate with 3PL and carriers to ensure desired service levels.
Drive performance review process in WHTL, monitoring performance indicators and remedies when needed.
Record accurately and validate storage and distribution licenses as per local FDA and manufacturing license for repacking activities.
Execute and drive the digitalization concept in the warehousing network.
Transportation - collaborate with procurement and country quality for appointment of transporters.
Collaborate with finance on monitoring of EOF related costs movement against budget, determine deviation drivers.
To be successful in this position you will:
Have a minimum of 5 years plus experience in a similar role, working for a multi-national company.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of supply chain, warehouse management, logistics and order to cash systems.
Strong stakeholder management capability and comfortable working at all levels of management and 3PL.
Experience in managing temperature control goods.
An understanding of the working practices of CMOs and clearing and forwarding agents.
A sound understanding of regulatory requirements.
A bachelor's degree in commerce or supply chain management.
Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.
