The Opportunity Metalcorp is looking for a Warehouse Team Member based in Tamworth.
Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.
This is a Monday to Friday role working a full time 38-hour week across our operational hours from 7am to 5pm.
What Will You Do?
You will be responsible for receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, and dispatch duties.
You will also: meet and greet our valued customers safely load and unload trucks and customer pickups operate forklifts, cranes and other processing machinery and equipment pick and pack from stock on-site to create orders be responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels More About You As someone who enjoys working in a physically active role and as part of a team, and is keen to pursue a career in an operations environment, you will bring: a current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one effective communication skills, a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills the ability to work in a fast-paced environment high level of attention to detail ability to think on your feet providing safe and workable solutions a commitment to the safety and well-being of yourself and others Why BlueScope As we're creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions, BlueScope supports you to build your expertise within a safe and positive team environment.
