Warehouse Team Leader (Outbound)

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader for our Outbound team to join our growing distribution centre team in Crestmead, QLD. This role will assist the Warehouse Manager by helping with keeping the team focused on their tasks. You will be dedicated to motivating your team to achieve daily targets, maintaining high standards of quality, and promoting a safe working environment. This role will help facilitate all staff members in hitting KPI's to benefit the customer and provide coaching to staff members that will help ensure the operation continues to run smoothly at all times. Tasks will include but aren't limited to packing and dispatch of customer's orders with a focus on quality and promoting efficiency.
The expected hours for this position will be 10am-6pm Monday to Friday and you will be based onsite in Crestmead, QLD.
What you'll be doing... Lead by example with the team and motivates not just through words but actions Ensure that staff are adhering to all safety and Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies Manage the team effectively to move staff into different areas depending on volume and needs of the business Oversee the packing and picking team to ensure KPI's are hit Manage the dispatch team to ensure safe and efficiently wrapped pallets are stacked and limits mixed pallets for ST Work with the supervisor to make sure there is a continued coaching of all staff as well as cross training Have a customer-first attitude by making packfast at 24 hours is 98%, packfast at 48 hours is at 98% and NDD is at 100% Manage employees to ensure they're effective and promoting a positive culture Adjust daily the roster and staff hours to ensure accuracy of reporting Assisting the business by being flexible with roster/work hours and helping cover other Team Lead/Supervisors in their absence Work with the Customer Experience (CX) team to notify them of any issues in regards to OOS or delays in orders Assisting Pet Circle through the timely and accurate reporting Ensure Cor Compliance at all times Ensure all ST pallets are correctly labeled, placed and moved to the dock in a timely manner Ensure all AP ULD's are clearly labeled with correct dates and weights Your Ideal Skills and Experience... Experience in a similar team leader role in a fast-paced warehouse environment Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in cross-functional teams The ability to keep your finger on the pulse by supervising your team over a large work space, and always monitoring team's performance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Safety focused with general knowledge of WHS policies and procedures High attention to detail and confidence to execute decisions Can do attitude, reliability, commitment and a strong work ethic Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Forklift License desirable Pet Circle Benefits...
