About the Role: The Attic Group is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to coordinate and manage our product installation picking along with inbound/outbound deliveries. Computing skills (Microsoft365 products) are required and the position does involve some manual work preparing factory parts for assembly.
The potential to progress to a more senior role will be possible should the successful applicant have the necessary organisational skills and an aptitude to learn the Attic business.
What you will do in the role As a warehouse Team Lead your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and coordinating the picking product orders for installation & shippingensure accuracy and efficiencyPrinting and booking of freight labels via online portals, ensuring all shipments are correctly labelled and documentedMaintaining a clean and tidy warehouse by implementing and enforcing housekeeping standards and proceduresManaging restocking activities, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and organized efficientlyOperating and supervising the safe use of forklifts and other warehouse equipmentCoordinating and assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage of goodsSafely moving pallets around the warehouse and optimizing warehouse layout for efficiency and safetyMonitoring warehouse operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standardsConducting regular inventory checks and audits to maintain accurate stock recordsEfficiently communicating with front office Sales & Install Operations (NSW/VIC) and customer service staff to provide accurate delivery for customersAssist with any ad hoc duties or projects as required or as instructed by the warehouse managerWhat you will need for the Role Knowledge of inventory management and logisticsAbility to Communicate with Operations Support and wider Product management teams frequently to escalate and resolve issues related to receiving and process improvementAbility to work under pressure (on occasion) and meet deadlinesIntermediate knowledge of MS Office applicationsStrong professional communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organisational and time management skillsHigh level of initiative, enthusiasm and flexibilityStrong customer service orientationAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersCurrent valid Forklift License with experience and Drivers LicenseWhite CardHours - 7.00 am to 3.30 pmOur Benefits A generous salary package will be paid, dependent on experienceFree on-site parking A relaxed, modern office setting with smart casual dressLunch provided twice weeklyPlease click apply and include your resume together with a covering letter www.atticgroup.com.au
