A very rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their ever-expanding team.
About the role In this challenging, dynamic and fast paced, "hands on" role, you will be responsible for overseeing a small, but highly dedicated warehouse team.
Aside from overseeing the warehouse team, you will be responsible for: Controlling the printing and allocation of orders Managing EDI process with Key Customers Processing delivery orders from all customers in Sage ERP 300 (ACCPAC) Pick, Pack and Despatching as demand requires Processing invoices for delivery of orders Processing inwards goods into the Warehouse Liaise with freight companies to ensure service standards are maintained Keep the Warehouse and Service & Repair Department well structured (ISO 9001 relevant), tidy and clean Focus on Safety and OH&S requirements Skills & experience Your previous Warehouse Team Leading experience coupled with your natural enthusiasm, drive and self-motivation will hold you in good stead.
Key attributes that you will possess include: Previous Warehouse Team Leadership experience within a product related organistion (does not have to be medical deices but that will of course be an advantage) Highly skilled in warehouse & supply chain management, customer service & experience and management of IT issues that may arise (outsourced assistance) The ability to coach, mentor and develop your team The ability to build rapport with people at all levels Strong illustrated commercial acumen A strong customer service philosophy Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills A Forklift License and Reach Truck operating experience A current Drivers Licesnse as there are overflow warehouses You will be a self-starter with effective communication, presentation, time a management and negotiation skill who's a quick learner, resourceful, have excellent attention to detail, exceptional; planning and organization skills, client/customer focused and team player with a positive can-do attitude.
