This is an afternoon-shift role, starting at 1pm Monday to Friday, mostly through to about 10.30pm, generally finishing earlier on Fridays and later in the busiest times of the year.
You
As you'd expect in a team leader role, you will be hands on, working with others in and around the team. For that reason, there are a couple of things you will need, including:
Truck driving license - HR minimum, with a view to upgrading later - if you need help with that, let us know.
Basic computer skills, including excel and e-mail, with a view to learning other logistics-specific software - we can teach you that.
Planning and communication skills.
A positive can-do attitude - although the team is skilled and know what they need to do, they will still look to you for leadership.
Clearly, you'll need some experience in transport and/or logistics, but once that's ticked off we're every bit as interested in your potential. Which leads us to…
