Warehouse Team Leader - CAF Rail Australia - Dubbo Trust in Motion. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader that will be directly reporting to the Warehouse Manager within the Mindyarra Maintenance Centre based in Dubbo. The role leads the warehouse activities to ensure Train Completion Works progress accordingly to plan in cost, quality and time.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Control of the processes that are under his/her responsibility and the problems that may arise in each of them.ReceptionInventoryNonconformities managementLine supplyMaterial shipmentsSolve the reception-economic issues with the supplier.Provide solutions or help to solve problems to the employees that are working under his/her responsibility.Answer requests from different departments.Monitor the workload per process and make organizational changes if necessary (consult with the Logistics Manager).Update the KPIs for each process and share them with the Logistics Manager.Unloading and handling of the material.Preparation of material to be delivered to the production line.Preparation and management of shipments.Management of non-conforming materials.ESSENTIAL: Possess a tertiary qualification for the role or equivalent experience in a similar position.Strong organizational and communication skills. Problem solving, analytical skills, leadership, and teamwork.Experience with office management software e.g. MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically).Accreditation and availability to use a forklift truck.DESIRABLE: SpanishTrained to use cranes.The successful candidate will be provided with: Monday to Friday Shifts.Exceptional quality of life in Dubbo.High standards and working experience in a multinational leading company.The NSW Government is replacing the NSW regional rail fleet of XPT, XPLORER and Endeavour trains with 29 safer, comfortable and more accessible trains for customers travelling across NSW and between Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
As part of the Regional Rail project, the Mindyarra Maintenance Centre in Dubbo will receive a new talented team for train completion works (Manufacturing, Testing, and Quality activities), with potential transition in the future to the Warranty & Maintenance teams.
