Join our team as the  Warehouse Team Leader at our Murarrie depot. 
Start time: 6:00am In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the effective and efficient operation of our site. This role includes ensuring the effective dispatching and tracking of freight delivery, team leading and managing the coordination of frontline operations to ensure all freight is distributed and sorted to all customers within the designated timeframe.
The successful applicant will have: Strong Leadership Skills: You will have the ability to engage and inspire your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Transport & Logistics Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Transport & Logistics industry will be essential to excel in this role.Attention to Detail: Accuracy across all transport functions is crucial for success.Adaptability: We need someone who can handle changing work requirements with flexibility and versatility.Chain of Responsibility Awareness: Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility regulations is necessary to ensure compliance and safety.Responsibilities Include: Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight in line with company requirements.Securing loads in accordance with Vellex and legal standards before vehicles depart the depot.Assisting the shift with any ad hoc operational duties.Conduct regular safety and vehicle checks to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.  Assist the management of pallet transfers inbound and outbound.
