The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Bohle team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Logistics Manager, ANZ, you will be responsible for the dispatch, receipt and management of goods within the distribution centre with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, efficiency and cost effectiveness. You will oversee warehouse staff, ensuring they are performing as a high-performance unit to meet KPIs.
Your Responsibilities
Management of warehouse staff including recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing professional development to ensure they are delivering high quality work.
Creating, maintaining and guiding safe work practices, ensuring all employees receive appropriate training and comply with safe work practices.
Collaborating with the Logistics Manager, ANZ to deliver and maintain effective and efficient work processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislative standards.
Co-ordination of cycle counts and stock takes within the distribution centre.
Setting budget guidelines, cost structures, headcount and remuneration review documentation.
Coordination of maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse buildings including office areas as required.
Coordination of security for the premises, inventory and staff members.
About You
To be successful you will have:
3+ years experience in a similar role within a high volume warehouse.
Previous experience in a healthcare operation within Pharmaceuticals, Animal Health or Medical Devices (desirable).
Experience leading and coaching team members.
High motivation levels to be self-managed, working without direct supervision.
Willingness to chip in and support the achievement of team goals as needed.
Strong communication and customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
Personal resilience under pressure.
Intermediate skills with WMSystems, MS Office, Excel (SAP & Manhattan desirable).
Previous experience utilising warehouse tracking and operational software packages.
