The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations in Bankstown sites. This role involves managing inventory, logistics, and team operations across multiple warehouse sites, ensuring efficient and safe processes while meeting the needs of the business and customers. You will lead a team, focusing on operational excellence, inventory control, and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring inventory management, logistics, and transport are efficiently handled.Manage incoming shipments from various global suppliers and ensure timely distribution to key markets.Lead and supervise a team of five warehouse staff, providing support and guidance across all operational areas.Maintain compliance with safety and GMP standards, actively participating in safety meetings.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize space, improve efficiency, and maximize productivity.Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have strong experience in warehouse and inventory management, with a background in using systems such as SAP or WMS. Leadership experience is key, as well as a proven ability to manage operations and optimize logistics processes in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
