Moranbah-based Warehouse leadership role$133,000 per year (inc super) plus $27,000 remote area allowance and a 5% short term incentive bonusHousing and relocation on offer for the right applicantThe Role Reporting to the Moranbah Maintenance Manager, this role will see you lead and coordinate the warehousing team where you can showcase your strong people management and process improvement skills.
The Warehouse Supervisor drives operational discipline, ensures on-going training and development of the warehouse staff, and oversees materials coordination for the Moranbah site utilizing their CMMS experience in SAP to assist with inventory control and stocktaking.
This is a challenging and varied role and will see you focused on maintaining a safe operating environment as well as:
Understanding key safety risks and ways to mitigate them,Having strong leadership capability and the ability to inspire and engage your team,Demonstrated experience in problem identification and effective resolution,Being a genuine team player who actively collaborates and works across disciplinary boundaries,Coordinating materials management in SAP,Demonstrating and instilling an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development,Ensuring compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations,Supervising and controlling logistics and transportation of goods and services to meet operational requirements,Always ensuring orderly storage and housekeeping practices to ensure security of Company's assets,Demonstrating commitment to the IPL Values and Code of Business Conduct.With solid experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook, exposure or direct experience with SAP is highly sought after.
While this is a leadership role, those with a high-risk forklift qualification will be looked upon favorably, while a tertiary qualification for either a Certificate III or IV in Warehousing is advantageous.
