Position Overview As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies. You will lead a team of warehouse and furniture removal staff, oversee furniture repair and restoration, coordinate logistics, and ensure inventory accuracy. Your time will be split evenly, with 50% spent in the warehouse and 50% on the road overseeing the delivery team. This is a full-time salaried position, with a Monday to Friday schedule and daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily warehouse activities and manage staff schedules.Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock audits.Train and mentor warehouse and removalist staff on best practices and company procedures.Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and address any operational issues.Clean and restore furniture Qualifications and Skills Current Victorian Drivers license and an excellent driving history Previous experience in furniture removal or deliveryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to collaborate within a team frameworkUpholding principles of honesty and integrityProven experience in warehouse operations and supervisory roles.Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
