Discover the Opportunity…. Opal Fibre Packaging provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at our site in Huonville.
The key focus of this role will be to:
Oversee the operations of the warehouse and stock management system Manage the receiving and processing of orders from customers Review inventory levels and order stock as required Direct and control the warehouse to ensure they carry out responsibilities effectively and provide high quality/profitable operations that meets customer and business needs Ensure that the loading of trucks is done in a safe and efficient manner and that all products that leave the site have the correct paperwork completed Providing accurate receipting of inward and outwards goods Accurately record Pallet Returns/De-hires, working towards minimising losses and the cost of recovery Discover your sustainable future… We can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves. For this role we would ideally like you to have:
Experience overseeing warehouse operations within a customer-centric environment Strong communication skills and confidence in interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders Current driver's license & forklift license Knowledge of planning techniques and supply chain principles The ability to prioritize and work to set deadlines Prior experience in using SAP or similar systems would be viewed favourably Applications are open to both internal and external candidates.
