Discover the Opportunity…. Opal Fibre Packaging provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at our site in Huonville.
The key focus of this role will be to:
Oversee the operations of the warehouse and stock management system.Manage the receiving and processing of orders from customers.Review inventory levels and order stock as required.Direct and control the warehouse to ensure they carry out responsibilities effectively and provide high quality/profitable operations that meet customer and business needs.Ensure that the loading of trucks is done in a safe and efficient manner and that all products that leave the site have the correct paperwork completed.Provide accurate receipting of inward and outward goods.Accurately record Pallet Returns/De-hires, working towards minimizing losses and the cost of recovery.We can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves. For this role, we would ideally like you to have:
Experience overseeing warehouse operations within a customer-centric environment.Strong communication skills and confidence in interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge of planning techniques and supply chain principles.The ability to prioritize and work to set deadlines.Prior experience in using SAP or similar systems would be viewed favorably.Applications are open to both internal and external candidates.
