For our Amsterdam office, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor (m/w/d) In this role, you will be responsible for managing our audio-visual equipment/warehouse and office to support our teams while they are providing exceptional audio-visual services within our allocated four- or five-star partner hotels.
You will be asked to utilize your technical knowledge, hospitality skills, and upselling techniques while always maintaining a positive attitude when working with internal and external clients.
The key language will be Dutch, and English language is required.
Key Responsibilities Prep and De-Prep Event orders by our Standard Operating Procedures Ensure storage and maintenance of AV equipment/warehouse by guidelines and regulations Transport and support drop-off, setup, and dismantling of AV equipment in our hotel venues Ensure service/repair/maintenance of equipment is conducted internally or arrange for repairs to be conducted externally as required Utilize the Warehouse Management System like barcode to process the orders efficiently and ensure that all the required paperwork is generated/filed Plan/organize the work in the office to improve productivity and increase efficiency Maintain stock levels for all consumables and order as required Conduct equipment inventory of all equipment in the warehouse Process Easy Jobs in creating PO numbers and third-party rental offers Job Requirements Experience with AV equipment (audio, video, lighting, or rigging), preferably in the hospitality industry Knowledge of Easy Job and administration processes Experience in customer service and willingness to provide exceptional customer service Attention to communication and teamwork Full NL driving license Competencies Concern for quality Attention to detail Can-do attitude A passion for the AV industry Excellent customer service Good communication skills, both verbal and written Quick learner Ability to work flexibly between locations and working hours Business Awareness Ability to work both within a team and individually Encore offers: Good competitive salary and travel expenses Interesting, multifaceted area of responsibility in a modern, innovative company Welcome days and comprehensive familiarization with the area of responsibility Flat hierarchies and an independent working environment Company pension scheme or fee Qualified for further training at the Encore University Merit increase Flexible working hours and time tracking Corporate benefits We look forward to receiving your application with information on availability and your salary expectations.
