Job description Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity.
Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
Checking orders, invoices, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
Communicating with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems.
Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates.
Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy.
Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained.
Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery.
Communicating with customers for daily inward and outward workload.
Ensuring that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the company's procedures and requirements.
Ensuring orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers' timelines/requirements.
Recording and communicating all shortage issues to the relevant authority.
Leading follow-up and resolving customer concerns.
