ERA Energy Services Pty Ltd is an integrated oil and gas equipment supplier and specialised service provider based in Brisbane, Queensland. We provide quality specialised products and services to the Oil and Gas Industry throughout Australia.
Due to industry growth, a new position vacancy has become available in Dalby, Queensland. We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual with proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and time management skills. Must have a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety, as well as be willing to be part of a great team environment.
About the role:
Role Location: Dalby, QLD. Even time roster 7 days on/7 days off, 12 hours from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm. BIBO from Brisbane to Dalby provided, or DIDO. Camp accommodation with meals provided whilst at the site. Great salary package on offer to the right candidate. Available to start immediately. Manage site staff resources and work schedules to ensure site business needs are met. Manage the logistics of materials movements to and from the site. Manage the receipting of all materials at the site, as well as identify, track, and report all non-conforming materials. Carry out weekly meetings to identify any roadblocks or issues identified and request any needs or tooling for CI. Manage stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Manage the issue/return of materials to the general business departments. Maintain and improve the security and orderliness of the Warehouse. Liaise with site general business departments and remote general business departments to identify short and long-term materials and resource needs. Manage contractors and third parties whilst on site. Support the Projects Manager – Warehousing and HSE Manager with any additional duties as required. Actively support ERA's commitment to occupational health, safety and the environment, including: Adopting standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with ERA's safety policies. Eliminating or reporting workplace hazards, taking part in safety drills and other activities, and ensuring warehouse staff are actively involved with JSA/SWMS utilised in daily operations at the site. Conducting activities in accordance with ERA's environmental policies, codes and guidelines, in particular, minimising energy and material usage in the workplace. Experience in a similar role, ideally within the oil and gas sector. Proven history in Warehousing/Supply and Logistics. Experience in managing and training staff. A high level of knowledge and experience in inventory control and cataloguing techniques. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Strong commitment to work-safe practices. Current C class licence. Ability to work as a team as well as unsupervised. Intermediate level of skill in Word, Excel and Office. High level of regard for safety. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Leading a team by example with collaboration and continuous improvement. Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing as well as police background checks. Experience with SAP will be highly regarded. Preferred:
Qualifications in warehousing and distribution would be highly desirable. HSE certification or Health and safety training. Remuneration
