About Blackwater Mine: Located in Central Queensland, BMA's Blackwater Mine is one of Queensland's largest coal mines.
It is situated approximately 21 kilometres from the town of Blackwater.
The BUMA Australia team has been performing truck and excavator pre-strip operations at Blackwater since May 2012.
Over 35 million bank cubic metres of material is mined by our fleets every year.
Our fleet at the mine comprises a combination of Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar 789C haul trucks with Hitachi EX8000, Caterpillar 6060, and Hitachi EX3600 excavators.
About the Role: The Maintenance team at our Blackwater Mine is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our A/D crew in a permanent full-time position on day shift only.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Procurement team, you will be responsible for receipting, dispatching, and maintaining inventory control and quality requirements within the required time frames.
In this role you will be responsible for: Manage and control the physical issue of parts required for work ordersManage returns of stock items surplus to completed work order requirements to warehouse locations and process system adjustmentsReceive and dispatch goods in a timely and cost-effective mannerMaintain auditable and legible documentationDevelop and maintain tooling registersMaintain lifting equipment registers and certificatesConduct inventory auditsMaintain consumable and PPE stock levels in the free issues areaConduct and record daily fuel and oil dipsPrepare and monitor budgets and track expenditureAbout You: Previous warehousing experience within construction and/or heavy equipmentComputerised catalogue and inventory control experience (JDE or similar)C Class Drivers LicenceStrong literacy and numeracy skillsWork planning and scheduling skillsExperience working for a medium to large mine operator (preferred)To be considered for this opportunity please click "Apply Now" to submit your application!
