Warehouse Storeperson

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Storeperson to join their team in Somerton.
This is an ongoing casual position with the view to go Permanent, working Monday to Friday
Hours of work are generally 7:30 - 3:30pm plus OT when needed.
Pay rate as a casual $32.25ph once you convert to Full Time after probation this will turn to approx $55k plus super. Please note this position is suitable for long-term employees who want to be trained up to leadership positions eventually, it's not for someone looking to fill in the gaps whilst looking for other work. Responsibilities: Load and unload stock efficiently within the warehouse.Store stock in designated locations to ensure proper organization.Safe operation of forkliftConduct lifting up to 20kg when requiredPerform general maintenance on warehouse equipment.Maintain cleanliness in warehouse areas.Assist with production as requiredBasic Pick and PackAble to complete basic paperwork General ad hoc warehouse duties Requirements: Valid Forklift LicenseMust pass Drug and alcohol test Must pass a police checkShow initiativeMinimum 6 months of forklift and warehouse experiencePrevious store person experience highly advantageousExcellent organisational skillsGood computer skillsPhysically fitReliable Vehicle and Driver Licence Reliability a MUST Can do attitude
