Job DescriptionWe currently have a part-time permanent opportunity for a motivated and highly organised Warehouse Storeperson to join our Energy team. You will be responsible for the overall successful daily operation of the warehouse for the Energy business and provide support project delivery and maintenance.
This role is based from our Smithfield EV Lab warehouse. This is a part-time opportunity to work 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with consistent flexible hours available as required and agreed for the role.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Take a lead role in order processing, stock management and dispatch of our EV assetsProvide administration support in operations and other meetingsAdvise on urgent issues requiring attentionMaintain register of inventory for tracking and managementCoordination and supervision of 3rd parties accessing the NRMA warehouse.Administration of EV site keysMaintain cleanliness and organisation of the office spaceDevelop, maintain, and provide reporting on stock movements and conditionReceives, handles and despatches goodsResearch and meet with suppliersPlace requisitions and receipt ordersMonitor and control the flow of goods into and out of storeUse a forklift to assist in loading and unloading trucks and moving goods around the store/workshop areaMaintain cleanliness & organisation of the StoreKeep records of delivered and dispatched goodsTrack record of responsibility when handling company assetsMaintain effective HSE controls within the warehouse and office spaceEffective oral and written communication skills, including strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skillsBuild effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, external partners, suppliers and NRMA teams.What You'll Bring Ability to work with minimal supervisionSupport team members on a variety of tasksMedium to Advanced skills in Microsoft office (word, excel, Outlook) and internetAbility to work with a high volume of data with high attention to detailProven ability to maintain good working relationships with contracted service providersProven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure of multiple deliverables within tight deadlinesProfessional attitude and exceptional interpersonal skillsSound knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WH&S) laws and legislationAbility to lift items within WorkSafe guidelines.Special Requirements Driver's LicenseForklift License (current license or willing to obtain license)What's in it for you?
