Key Responsibilities:Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for damages.Document and report discrepancies to the supervisor.Properly store products in designated locations within the warehouse.Ensure goods are organized and easily accessible for retrieval.Rotate stock to maintain inventory freshnessConduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.Notify the supervisor of low stock levels and order replenishments as needed.Monitor and manage shelf life and expiration dates of products.Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.Prepare orders for shipping and ensure they are properly labelled and ready for dispatch.Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts or other warehouse equipment.Maintain a clean and safe receiving and shipping area.Ensure that all goods are handled and stored in compliance with safety and quality standards.Conduct quality checks on products when necessary.Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.Adhere to all relevant regulations, including handling hazardous materials if applicable. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is preferred.Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment is essential (certification may be required).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.Basic computer skills for inventory management.Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.Good communication and teamwork skills.
