About the roleThe Warehouse Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System and that all personnel under this role possess the necessary skills and competencies. This position oversees a small team at the Minchinbury Warehouse, ensuring that all operational, safety, security, administrative, and hygiene standards are met. The operation covers egg, egg products, and the requirements for handling perishable food, must be fully observed.
What you'll doOperate forklifts and reach trucks for loading and unloading.Utilise computer systems for sales order processing and label generation.Manage loading and offloading of refrigerated vehicles, ensuring stock rotation by Best Before Dates.Adhere to the Transport Schedule and promptly report any variances.Record movements of leased pallets and containers accurately.Ensure correct loading of outgoing Linehaul trucks to prevent damages.Monitor and maintain the functionality of refrigerated storage areas.Oversee compliance with load plans and transport schedules.Conduct daily graded stocktakes, focusing on accuracy and Best Before Dates.Maintain cleanliness and security in the warehouse, ensuring alarm systems are armed when closed.About YouAre you a driven warehouse leader seeking a new opportunity to make a real impact? We're looking for someone with solid logistics and warehousing experience, whether from FMCG or other sectors. As a team player, you'll work closely with a small, dedicated group, stepping in to support your colleagues while also guiding them as a leader. A continuous improvement mindset is key—you should be open to new ideas and fresh approaches. You'll report to a respected manager known for his hands-on approach and dedication. Your ability to balance being part of the team while maintaining managerial authority will be crucial. You should have a valid forklift ticket and hands-on management experience, as this role combines leadership with active participation in daily operations. Being computer-savvy, particularly in Excel, and having your own transport are essential.
