Warehouse & Purchasing Officer

As a key member of the procurement team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain.  What We Offer: Exciting opportunities for growth and advancement A collaborative and supportive work environment Long term temporary contract Key Responsibilities: Source suppliers and negotiate contracts for goods and services Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships Undertake purchasing and distribution of goods and services in accordance with supply policies and procedures Coordinate the disposal process including the coordination and control of all warehouse assets and equipment Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with the annual stocktake Arrange for servicing and maintenance of equipment and plant Expediate purchase orders for stock items and direct supply, ensuring the end user is notified of the delivery and availability dates Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field Proven experience in purchasing or procurement role Current "LF" Class Forklift Operators licence Demonstrated experience with computerised supply systems in relation to procurement, contract and materials management Demonstrated experience with warehouse management responsibilities relating to materials management Experience with Oracle would be highly desirable.
