Your RoleBe part of the team at Vinnies bulk container deposit scheme site in Wagga Wagga, working on a casual basis. You will assist in collecting, sorting, and storage of recyclable drink containers. On-the-job training in using specialised equipment will be provided. Your great customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members are important to this role. A current Forklift Licence is required (Counter Balance).
Your ResponsibilityOperate equipment used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containersUse forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containersOperate point of sale system for accurate sales and refund transactionsAssist in other activities i.e. housekeeping, maintenance of warehouse equipment, reporting faulty equipment needing repair, etc.You Will NeedExcellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer serviceExperience in using forklifts and a current valid Forklift LicenceExperience working within a warehouse and/or production environmentCapacity to perform manual/physical tasksAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independentlyThorough understanding of work, health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.Apply NowIf this sounds like you, don't wait - apply now, we are interviewing as we receive applications.
