Warehouse Person

Valley Fasteners is a leading industrial supply and fasteners company with a combined 30 plus years experience supplying specialised products to the construction, fabrication and mining industries.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Rutherford team of experts in the role of warehouse and distribution logistics. Experience is preferred but not essential as on the job training will be provided.
Duties of the role will include but are not limited to: Receiving and processing incoming orders.Picking and packing outgoing orders.Following up with suppliers on outstanding orders/invoices.Working closely with customers to track and update them on order status.Monitoring of stock levels in warehouse.Presentation and housekeeping of the warehouse and hardstand.Loading/unloading of the delivery truck.Deliveries of customer orders and liaising with customers on site.Assisting with retail sales in the showroom.Requirements: Good phone and communication skills.A proactive approach when following up on outstanding orders.NSW driver's license.WHS compliance experience and understanding.Position and industry experience preferred but not essential.The Position: Warehousing and Logistics.
