This role is a residential position.RESPONSIBILITIESIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in the warehouseData entry and processing orders in a timely mannerReceive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoicesAccurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimise warehouse spacePick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or ordersLiaise with internal and external stakeholdersComplete cycle-counts and routine stock takesUndertake housekeeping duties to ensure work area is maintained and cleaned dailyAdhere to safe work practices in the workplaceTo be successful in this role you will need the following:High Risk Forklift Licence - preferred but not essential.Driver's Licence essential- Manual or willing to obtain.Intermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quicklyPrevious warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicantsPrevious experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficialAbility to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficientlyCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSCompetitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salaryAdditional 20% Location Allowance on top of base salaryOvertime penaltiesOn call allowance and call out feeAble to participate in the Cummins Employee Share Purchasing Program (ESPP)Safety equipment / PPE providedUniforms providedComprehensive Cummins product training providedIncome Protection continuance insuranceDiscounts with select private health insurance, PC software/hardware and a range of vehiclesLease plan options availableAnnual remuneration reviewParticipation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) programA range of personal and professional benefitsOnsite parkingEmployee Assistance Program available to employeesPaid Parental leave (Conditions apply)At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
