Job OverviewBritvic is seeking a dynamic and committed Warehouse Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within our warehouse. This involves operating machinery, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving and inspecting goods: Unload shipments, check for damages, and verify quantities against purchase orders.Inventory management: Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular stock counts.Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Equipment operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.Safety compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality protocols, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.Team collaboration: Work closely with team members and managers to meet operational goals.Warehouse management systems: Effectively navigate and utilize warehouse management software and other computer systems essential for inventory tracking and order processing.Knowledge, Skills & Experience RequiredIT: Good working knowledge of SAP:EWM and SAP:ECC. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Familiarity with GTA system.Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to operate warehouse machinery safely, computer skills for inventory management, good communication and teamwork abilities.QualificationsLeaving Certificate or equivalent qualification is required.Additional certifications in warehouse operations are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
