We specialise in customised electrical solutions for heavy transport, aerospace, rail, military, medical and special purpose vehicles and machinery, offering full service and support from design to delivery, and after-market sales. Our expertise spans almost 40 years, with a long history of leadership and success in the electrical harness industry.
The Warehouse Operator position is responsible for supporting manufacturing by ensuring all internal customers receive goods and components in full and on time.
JOB DESCRIPTION Excellent attendance and punctualityComputer skills (MS Office and General software)Positive, proactive attitude with great work ethicExcellent manual handling and repetitive motion abilitiesAdherence to safety requirements and company policiesRoles and Responsibilities: Efficiently and safely process AME Systems components and products to internal customers in a timely mannerLoading/unloading of transport vehicles in a safe and efficient mannerAccurately pick 'orders' and package the products in various containersBook and manage products with our computer and ERP SystemMaintain daily stock checks, contribute to the annual stocktake and provide reports as requiredAct with initiative and drive when self-managing time and duties, maximising the overall efficiency and productivity of the Warehouse area, ensuring you are an active member of the team.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Relevant experience or qualifications/certificates in dispatch/warehousing, supply-chain or inventory management would be an advantage.Current forklift competency would be an advantage but not essential.Solid capability in a warehousing role would be an advantage, but not essential.Must NOT be Colour-Blind.All shortlisted applicants will be required to successfully undertake a Pre-Employment aptitude test and medical assessment.
