THE OPPORTUNITY: Reporting to the Supply Supervisor, the Warehouse Officer is responsible for the warehouse inventory and data entry of equipment, parts, and stock items, electronic filing, and accurate dispatch of orders.
Maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse and forklift operation to manage the site warehouse facility.
This is a permanent full-time position which operates on a FIFO 8:6, 8:6, 7,7 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Store Truck unloading, unpacking, and physically checking items against delivery slips / receipt of equipment, parts, and stock items into the electronic system.Safe storage of items and correct recording of inventory by description and location in the warehouse.Locating and issuing of equipment, parts, and stock items to stores orders, including entering and processing the request in the system and issuing to internal departments.Maintaining inventory and processing stock order refills.Conducting stock takes and reconciling to electronic records.Assisting in the monitoring and control of orders, identifying variances and discrepancies to the Stores Supervisor.Warehouse Assisting with storage and moving of equipment, parts, and stock within the warehouse.Packing and storing items safely, neatly, and orderly.General maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse.Complying with and contributing to safe work practices in the warehouse.Supporting the Stores Supervisor in improving workflow and efficiency of warehouse storage and inventory control.ABOUT YOU: Current Forklift licence and minimum 2 years experienceCurrent WA C Class Manual Drivers LicenceCommitment to safetyPrevious experience in control of mining inventory and partsComputer skills and ability to maintain an electronic inventory systemProficient in Microsoft OfficePhysical fitness to meet the demands of physical work.WHAT WE OFFER: Excellent remuneration package and eligible to participate in the Company's short-term incentive plan.Paid Community LeaveGreat accommodation and recreational facilitiesTake a front row seat in the sustainable energy transformation!WHAT WE STAND FOR: Great peopleSafety mattersQuality productsMaking a difference in the worldPROMOTING DIVERSITY: Pilbara Minerals recognises that talented people come from diverse backgrounds, who can contribute to our successes in different ways.
