We offer a supportive environment that encourages professional development and provide opportunities to broaden your experience though internal working groups and committees across VEC branches.What you will be doingReporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for:Receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching warehouse items while maintaining accurate inventory records.Leading, supporting and training pick teams during election preparations and major events.Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient freight handling.Providing weekly courier services and supporting ad hoc deliveries/collections.Testing and maintaining all inventory items and election office equipmentMaintaning the storage and retrieval of VEC recordsWhat you will bring to the roleA current and valid forklift's license (mandatory. High reach and counterbalance experience preferred)A current and valid car driver's license (mandatory)Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse, including the ability to control a 1-tonne vehicleAbility to motivate, guide and support team members to acheive high performanceAbility to quickly adapt to new computer systems with proven experience in the use of MS Word and ExcelCommitment to the VEC's core valuesHow to applyAll applicants must submit:a current CV anda separate document with responses to Key Selection Criteria (KSC) 6.1, 6.4, 6.5 and 6.6 as listed in the position description.Applications should be lodged online via the Apply Now button (below).
